THe debate game in photos :D

This was a very interesting game – a debate with a particular cultural topic : why destroy an existent building just because it looks bad, and build a new one, instead of restoring the original one. We all discussed about economical, cultural, political implications of this decision. And, as an extra, we also had a great time ! :D

Zoom into and Broadcast your Middle Ages

Last night …

Posted by: admin   in Today we have done...

Tonight was perfect….

First we showed to all the team and the ladies from accomodation, what we did all these days: the coat of arms and what it represents, we all watched the video :) , we viewed a powerpoint about the album…

Then, a part of the team prepared prepared a short play… like a fairytale: Angel was the prince that makes princess Diana smile, with his funny funny poem :) )

It was so amusing to see every characted impersonated by a member of the team :)

After this funny moment, we found out who was our secret friend during this exchange. We saw the person who took care of us these 7 days…. it was so touching…
Till 3am we talked, listened to music, had fun :)

The last 2 hours till the bus left for Bucharest, we went out in the town and danced. At 5 30 am, everybody was in the bus, except the spanish team and a part of the romanian team…
It’s time to say good bye…

This exchange was awesome!

This morning was so filled up with stuff. We had to finish the coat of arms … YEEE, it’s ready, and it looks just great !
The album is getting in shape…a preetty powerpoint about it is almost done. About the video, what can I say…it’s great… looook:

Zoom into

After finishing the work, and after lunch :) ) , we has an evaluation of the whole project – “The Islands”. We navigated with boats of the sea of our exchange, and talked, in pairs, about this great experience that was “Zoom into and broadcast your Middle Ages”…
We all filled some evaluation forms and got our youthpasses and some presents from the organisers… “Ciocolata cu rom” and books and brochures about Sibiu. We also said a few words for the final report of the project :)
We’re almost done here…only fun thing left is the Overall presentation of the Project and the Farewell party.
Tonight is Olga’s Birthday… we’ve got a special gift for her :D
Can’t wait!!

Friday – Polish night

Posted by: admin   in Today we have done...

Oh my God, the food tonight was awesome!!! We had american berbeque… it smelled and tasted so good…
And after that great meal, we took part in the Polish night. Their language is sooooo hard :) ) But I must say, I already knew some expressions from early meetings with polish people. After we tried and tried and tried to talk a bit polish, we tasted some more good food, home made this time. The polish girls prepared traditional sweets and the boys brought “mom-home-made” food :D
Again, we danced alot and had a great time.
After the organised program, we went again for a walk through the city. I can;t get enough of the city at night… it’s so romantic and beautiful.
Tomorrow is our last day here….lots of stuff to do and little time… I’m so sad that our time left here is so short…

Oh, and another thing, I tried today to show the others how to make balloon dogs :) I made a red one and a white one as a present for the polish team :)

Friday was Sighisoara DAY :)

Posted by: admin   in Today we have done...

The citadel is absolutely lovely… the atmosphere was incredible. I am so excited!
Too bad it rained.
Ok, let’s start from the beginning. We started of at 10 am… biiiiiig bus was taking us to Sighisoara. On the way there, we pulled over and visited the Slimnic Citadel…or should I say it’s remainings?
Everybody was a bit dissapointed that such a beautiful place was almost abandoned. Also, near the citadel, there were chickens and dogs :) )
We had a short discussion of how we could bring to live again this historic place.
Than, we continued our journey, we saw all the beautiful transilvanian fortified churches and finally got to Sighisoara.
Roxana showed us around, told us a few words of the history of the fortress. We admired the Clock tower and went up the stairs to see the panoramic view :) I loved the puppets representing the days of the week.
The architecture of the place is astonishing… it looks just like 100 years ago.
We divided in teams and played some treasure hunting, that helped us see the unseen from the citadel. We found out stuff about Vlad Dracul’s house, about the covered Stairs, about the Evangelical Church. It was so nice, we took scary photos, we talked with the locals… Jose was interviewed by Realitatea TV…sweeet
The organisers bought us some presents :X I’m surely taking my “drinking pipe” home!

After the program, we had free time and tried to drink “the bestest” coffee in the world :) ))
I bought some interesting stuff for my mom. I liked it today !

Roberto prepared some goooooood pasta for dinner, and after that, we watched funny videos about Italy, Justine thought us some Italian works… then we all played music, danced, Michal played the guitar, Armina sang Romanian songs… :)

After this, we went to the center of the city. It was sooo beautiful, in the night, lighted and gorgeus :X
Also, we partied with karaokeeeee.
I’m so tired, and tomorrow we are going to Sighisoara… can’t wait!
